Sharon G. Druker is a partner in our Business Law Group and the head of its Corporate Services Department. Her practice focuses on corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, the purchase/sale and debt/equity-based financing of businesses, as well as the preparation of shareholder, partnership and joint venture agreements and other commercial transactions.

She has over 35 years of experience in providing tailored legal solutions to support the operational and transaction needs of individuals, partnerships and corporations in Canada, the United States and abroad.


Representative files and mandates

  • Acts as counsel on a regular basis to Québec borrowers and to out-of-province law firms in connection with Québec-based secured financing transactions
  • Provides advice on a regular basis to businesses regarding their compliance with Québec’s French language laws
  • Works with clients, their tax advisors and the RSS Corporate Services Department on numerous corporate reorganizations
  • Acts as Québec counsel to AJW Technique Inc. and its affiliates on an ongoing basis regarding all Québec-based commercial and financing matters
  • Acts as Québec counsel to an educational service provider to domestic and international students for its acquisition under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act and ongoing operations
  • Co-led an Ontario purchaser’s legal team on the acquisition of certain Québec-based manufacturers and suppliers of brick, stone and masonry products
  • Led an Ontario purchaser’s legal team on the acquisition of a Québec-based transportation company
  • Represented the co-founder of a Québec-based entertainment company in its acquisition by a major Japanese gaming company
  • Co-counsel to the vendors in an arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce of claims and counterclaims relating to the sale of a business
  • Co-counsel to the Family Law Group in connection with matrimonial (partnership of acquests) claims against corporate assets
  • Co-counsel to the Litigation Group in connection with the determination of shareholder rights at law and under shareholder agreements in the context of oppression remedy claims
